Big Willi Mountaineering Company is a brick and mortar independent gear store in Lone Pine California. It's owner and sole proprietor, Blair Nicodemus, curates specialty hiking, climbing, and mountaineering goods with the Eastern Sierra in mind for application.
What matters to Blair is quality, functional gear and clothing that will help people achieve their goals in the mountains. At Big Willi Mountaineering Company, You will find gear and goods that are either hard to find or never available in traditional big box big brand outdoor stores. You will find gear that is Taylor made for activities in the Eastern Sierra, with over 15 years of experience in these mountains.

What Blair does is extensive research on existing gear, And tries to provide the best quality gear at a price people can afford.

When Blair is not running the shop and providing logistical support for everyone else, You can usually find him in the more remote canyons of the east side. An avid skier climber and hiker, Blair simply follows the seasons. Usually testing some new piece of gear, Blair enjoy spending his time exploring the vastness that is the Eastern Sierra and the Great Basin in general.
